After a few years of overseeing thousands of food deliveries around the world for Deliveroo, Harry wanted to work on his own food creation. At just 28 years old, his eating habits caught up with him as he sadly developed gout.

Also suffering from a lethal sweet tooth, this instigated a life changing thought process. His love for houmous and something sweet came together, but he couldn’t do it alone. HOU to partner with?

So Harry caught up with Jake, someone Harry had known in his teens and the chemistry was right from day one. Jake had been a Chef for 15 years, working at some of the most prestigious restaurants and leading teams at the likes of Coya and Le Petite Maison.

On the verge of opening his first restaurant, Jake found a new found love for sweet houmous and wanted to take his cooking skills to a different dimension.

Jake and Harry shared the same vision – to create something indulgent, yet with health benefits, wanting to challenge the market like never before.

HOU was born.
